2Frequently Asked Questions

I can't sign in

First, confirm you are using the same sign-in method you originally registered with — Apple, Google, and email are separate accounts and cannot be merged. If you registered with email and forgot your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen to receive a reset link. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and confirm the email address is correct. Still stuck? Email support@paramatma.co.in with the email address on the account and we will help you recover access.

My jap count or streak looks wrong

Your counts and streaks sync to your account and are saved offline first, then reconciled when you reconnect. If a count looks off, make sure you are signed in and connected, then reopen the app to let it sync. If it still looks wrong, email support@paramatma.co.in with your account email and roughly when the issue happened, and we will investigate.

How do Sangh groups and invites work?

A Sangh is a group you create or join to practise together. Share the invite link or code with the people you want to add; they can see the group's shared leaderboard and send gentle nudges. You choose the display name shown to other members and can leave a group at any time. Leaving removes you from that group's leaderboard.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed by Apple or Google, not by Paramatma, so changes happen in the store where you signed up:

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period. Deleting your Paramatma account does not automatically cancel a recurring store subscription — cancel in the store first.

What is Mudra, and can I get a refund?

Mudra is an in-app currency you can earn or buy to unlock digital altar items. It has no cash value and is used only inside the app. Refunds for any store purchase are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; contact them through the store where you paid.

How do I delete my account?

Fastest is in-app: Profile → scroll to the account section → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent. If you cannot sign in, email info@paramatma.co.in from the address on your account. Full instructions are on our Account Deletion page.

Where is my data stored?

Your account, counts, streaks, Sangh membership, and any Kundali details are stored on managed cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. Data that can reveal your religious or spiritual beliefs is treated as special-category data and is never used for advertising. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

The app crashed — what should I do?

Crash reports are sent to us automatically (no personal content) and help us fix bugs. If a crash is repeatable, email support@paramatma.co.in with your device model and OS version, the app version, the exact steps that triggered it, and a screenshot or recording if you have one. This helps us reproduce and fix the issue faster.
